In 4 days time we will be making our way into DMU to watch the presentations of the all the students on our design brief. We have had interim contact with Helen and the students but other than email we have seen nothing of the clothes designs, to say we are excited is a great understatement. It sounds as though they've really worked hard, and we cant wait to see you on Friday.

So as 2007 draws to a close and 2008 beckons, will this be the year for Sarruma? We are going to have a fantastic portfolio and with the world at our feet, can we be stopped?!

Hello everyone, its been a few weeks since we let you know whats going on in the world of Sarruma so heres a quick update for ya'll. We have received our first batch of custom tshirts which are on their way to be printed up with our designs, they will be appearing in the shops in the next few weeks!

Anyone attending the clothes show this year? look out for Sarruma! The leicester based manufacturer who make all our garms, Traditional Clothing, have a stand this year and are there to show off there skills as manufacturers and to do this are taking along examples of the clothes currently in production, Sarruma is one of them!

We are at the best of times a little unorganised...however, this weekend seems as though it may actually run smoothly.

We're off on a road trip for Gracey's debut race at the Tredz Downtown in Penarth, Wales. We are just off up to get our supplies for camping, (basically two disposable bbqs and a load of beer and food). Well, what else would you need? Gracey is well up for it, but is slightly nervous, which is to be expected. But he's a talented bloke and we're all quietly confident he'll do well.

We met with the DMU students early this morning. Before we'd even wiped the sleep from our eyes and had a brew, we were marched into a lecture room and made to speak! Find out what happend at DMU here.

11th October 2007
Armed with a few cereal bars and some fruit we set off for the Cycle Show 2007! Things were going well, apart from the fact we had no stereo! Probably a good job as loud tunes make you drive faster, and my new Corsa (only four gears!) might have struggled!

London seemed surprisingly chilled and relaxed. All the times we've been there before, we have never seen it like that. As we rolled into the main hall of Earl's Court, we were met with an incredible array of cycle goodies, such as the impressive Scott Team Bus and the complete 2008 kit laid out in all its glory. We started along one of the many walk ways that divided the 100 or so exhibitions.

This was our first trade show, so we just set about speaking to everyone and anyone we could and they were very helpful and patient with us so thanks for that! Had an interesting chat about Lizard Skins with Ran from 2pure, and found a Taiwanese man who had some real nice bike parts. We came across our good friend Dan who works for Cube Bikes who also had a rather impressive tour bus with roof top seating! There was a good mix of smaller, lesser-known companies exhibiting which was good to see.

We also had a word with the lads at the Dainese stand. We got talking about their new full face carbon helmet which is simply a beaut. Lightweight and finished off with nothing fancy to it; a no-frills, solid and modern helmet. We won't turn this into an essay, just check out the photos of Cycle Show 2007 in our gallery...
