Fresh Designers Wanted!

Have you got any designs that Sarruma would be interested in? Would you like to work on a freelance basis, and see your designs put to some use?

We are interested in hearing from all new designers, however well known you are and whatever your specialised field is. It doesn't matter if you're a graff artist, illustrator, photographer, animator, fashion, web, product, graphic, 3D or textile designer... we want to see what you've got.

Whether you have a range of helmet designs, or you have just one t-shirt idea, simply contact us and maybe we can work together to finalise an outcome. We're not just after graphics for printing onto garments, but also helmets, belts, wallets, bike parts, and many other items.

Designs submitted to Sarruma can be of any style or any subject. Our approach gives designers the freedom to work how they want. We recommend taking the time to look at the designs currently in stock so you can get an idea of what has grabbed our attention so far. As a new company, we obviously don't have the large range that we desire, so we want people like you to build it up.

FORMAT -

If you want to show us a Sarruma design or some examples/photos of previous work, please send them in either vector-based (that we can open in Adobe Illustrator) or JPEG format.

Something along the lines of 800 x 600 pixels and no larger than about 400-500kb. These are not strict rules, but they do help us that extra little bit.

The more preparation you do, the less work we will have to do, and the more willing we will be to give you a higher commission and a designer profile. By preparation we mean colour choice, vector files (if needed), colour separation (if needed), and general finalising of the design.

Perhaps choose a couple of prefered colours for the garmet you want to print on, and think about how it contrasts with the design. Maybe you have a name for your design that you like as well. Obviously, we can help you out in these areas if needed.

Please don't be offended if you don't get back to you. We have a lot sent to us and unless your work is well above average then it is unlikely we will be able to give you feedback. Sorry.

WHAT YOU GET -

What? Apart from the commission? (Which we will discuss on an indivdual basis.)

If we pick your design, your work will be seen nationwide. The designer is always credited. Sarruma hope to get regular designers to feature their designer profiles on our site, acting as a directory of contemporary designers and illustrators. All this will raise your status and help you get more freelance work or help you get that dream job!
